Hector Garza is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Texas at Austin in the Jackson School of Geosciences. He obtained his BS in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016, and spent 2017-2020 working in the Oil and Gas industry. Garza's research comprises of understanding major geologic and evolutionary events in Earth's history and systematic biases with the U-Pb dating techniques.
